What's a gamebook?
A gamebook is a book made of paragraphs (or pages). On each page, the reader is invited to make a choice between several, which allows him to participate in a story, the choices affecting the course of the narrative.Famous gamebooks series include the "Choose your own adventure" series, "Fighting Fantasy", "Lone wolf" or even "Sherlock Holmes".
Gamebook Land allows you to write gamebooks and post them on the site!

Windhammer Prize for Short Gamebook Fiction

The site Arborell.com, one of the biggest Gamebooks sites, is holding a contest. Some of you may be interested into participating :
Arborell.com is proud to announce the commencement of the inaugural Windhammer Prize for Short Gamebook Fiction. This prize has been created as a means to promote the gamebook genre, and provide authors of gamebook fiction with an opportunity to showcase their work in a competitive setting.
The Windhammer Prize is open to all gamebook
authors and requires no entry fee or or other costs. Sponsored by
arborell.com it features a cash prize, a framed winner's certificate and two
years hosting of the winning entry at the Windhammer Prize webpage. Entry
